From Cornell by vehicle - reach the north side of Fall Creek by taking Warren Road North to Hanshaw Road. Turn right on Hanshaw Road. In 2 miles, Hanshaw Road makes a 90-degree turn to the left. A small parking area is on the right. The Cayuga Trail passes along the edge of the forest near the Cornell Recreation Club facility - look for the orange blazes.

From Cornell by foot - take the Cayuga Trail. The trail, marked with orange blazes, begins at Stewart Avenue, passes through the pergola next to the Robinson York State Herb Garden, the Cornell Plantations wildflower garden, arboretum, and natural areas along Fall Creek. An easy place to Pick up the trail is at the Stevens Suspension Bridge (a pedestrian bridge) that spans Fall Creek. The Bridge is 0.1 mile east of the Cornell Plantations arboretum entrance on Forest Home Drive.
