The Plant Production Facility at Cornell Plantations is a $2 million new-construction project to create a complete growing, observation, storage and care complex for plants. This complex will alleviate the crowded growing conditions of the small greenhouse currently in use in the botanical garden and greatly expand our capabilities. Today, Plantations must rent space in other greenhouses for all of the plants that are needed to create our beautiful gardens, natural areas and the arboretum. Our new Plant Production Facility will make our operations self-sustaining for tomorrow and beyond.
